My wife and I met Geoff at a Truckee Contractor's Annual Festival several years ago, and we were so impressed after meeting him we immediately hired him to help us completely remodel/update our 2 story chalet in the Lake Tahoe area.
Geoff is an excellent, excellent carpenter and mason, and he also can perform miracles on electrical and plumbing problems. We had Geoff update every room in the house, so he basically rebuilt or replaced or remodeled all of the floors, walls and ceilings. Geoff was absolutely great, we especially loved the remodeling he did in the kitchen and two bathrooms. He put in a new floor in the kitchen as well as granite counter tops, and we completely remodeled both bathrooms in travertine. He also replaced every door, and window, and upgraded all of the interior window trim. We are very happy and pleased with the quality of his work. He is an artist and everything looks fabulous.
Geoff was very easy to communicate with during the project, which took several months to complete on time. Since we live in the San Francisco area, easy communication with him was essential. He answered all of our calls quickly and courteously, and sent images to us to update us on the progress of the work. We really felt he was easy to work with.
We have also more recently worked on remodeling a guest bathroom in our primary house. We knew he would do a spectacular job, and he did! He put down a new slate floor, and new travertine counter top, as well as repairing the threshold of our front door. Excellent work, all.

He worked with us on an existing kitchen and suggested dramatic improvements without altering the existing structure. He has a "can do", enthusiastic attitude and is one of the few contractors we've worked with who is fun to have around.

We are so happy with our new living room. We were ready to get rid on the dusty old carpet and though we loved the idea of a fireplace, ours was breezy and inefficient and generated no heat whatsoever.
Geoff put in a beautiful wood floor with radiant heat. He also installed a cozy cast iron and granite stove, fueled by natural gas, that can heat just the room or the whole house. He closed in the fireplace with simple but elegant tile work that matched the room,the stove centered in front , so now we have a real hearth. It is our favorite room.
We were having organization chaos issues in the garage, the office, the tiny laundry room and all the closets. Geoff built in shelving and customized every storage space in our house and suddenly everything fits AND looks organized! He can take a tiny space and make it incredibly useful.
