I was born and raised in Mill Valley California. In 1996 I graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California, with a BFA in ceramic sculpture. For the past 22 years I have lived & worked in Nevada County along with a three year stay in Ashland, Oregon. While in Oregon, I had the unique opportunity to live completely off grid with my wife & two small children, in a yurt, on 40 beautiful acres of raw land in the mountains overlooking Ashland. With only solar for power, a wood stove for heat & a year round spring for water, our family learned to live simply and in harmony with the earth. For over nineteen years now, I have worked in Real Estate and construction / remodel / repair work.
While In Truckee, I worked on many expensive vacations homes bringing life back to older houses and even adding a custom touch to newer ones. In Ashland, I discovered an environmental awareness and energy consciousness which has had a positive and direct affect on me as a General Contractor. With these two very different work experiences, along with my unique artistic approach to home remodeling, I can now offer much more than I ever thought possible. High end remodels without the high price tag or the impact on our planet.
I am now living in beautiful Grass Valley in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We have been fortunate to have lived in such beautiful places. I look forward to sharing all that I have learned with the communities here.
My Construction business is now concentrating mainly on remodel / repair work with an emphasis on energy conservation, alternative solutions to everyday problems and a unique artistic approach to home remodeling. My superior customer service, integrity, attention to detail as well as skills in multiple trades, sets me apart from other contractors.
